Nina Blassengale helps teams turn lessons learned into action, so every effort is better than the last.

Nina founded CROSSING CHANGE after more than 20 years working alongside leaders in government agencies at all levels, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and private businesses. Her work brings a distinctive approach to change management and project management. She has facilitated more than 30 lessons learned workshops.

Before starting the practice, she ran lessons learned sessions and training inside a federal government agency. A colleague who saw that work firsthand kept telling her she could build something of her own. When her position ended, she spent months figuring out what came next — until a friend who ran his own business told her there was no better time to start. She completed her PMI-CPMAI certification, then stopped looking for the next job and built CROSSING CHANGE instead.

She built CROSSING CHANGE to offer three things: lessons learned workshops, tools to run and capture lessons learned continuously on your own, and training to close skill gaps.

Direct support

Nina also offers direct change management or project management support for your organization's efforts, navigating change, driving adoption, and keeping the work on track. She takes on a limited number of organizations at a time, so each one gets her full attention.
